Press Forward

“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14

In this new year, have you taken the time to stop and reflect on the journey ahead of you? We sometimes focus on everything that has gone wrong in our lives; forgetting better is always in front of us. Think about it this way; we have a rearview mirror and windshield on a car. If we spend so much time looking in the rearview mirror, we will miss what is ahead.

In 2021, look forward. Press forward. Do not allow the things of 2020 or any other year to hold you back. This is a new year and a new day God has blessed us to see. Move in it according to His plans for you. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, fasting, and listening to His directions. I promise He will not lead you astray.
