Our Mission
ADVMS, Inc. mission is to develop activities such as conferences, retreats, community service initiatives, workshops, and open discussion groups to develop a mind of leadership. We work on the mind, body, and spirit while helping to create leaders of tomorrow.
Strategic Partnerships
ADVMS strives to build meaningful relationships and alliances that inspire and support women that need some help and guidance to set them on the right path mentally, spiritually, and physically.
Why do I do what I do?
My past drives me to help others. My life-long passion is helping others and positively spreading my energy and light.
I had a good childhood up until age 12, when my Granny passed away. This was a hardship and life-changing experience for me. My life changed completely, and I never want a young girl or woman to ever experience what I had to endure.
After her death, I felt so unloved and unwanted. My family always surrounded me, but there was a difference, a big void without my Granny. I went through homelessness, domestic violence, rape, and life of the unknown in my early tender age years.
But today, I do all I can to help every young girl or woman who crosses my path. I want them to know they are loved, beautiful, talented, and can do whatever they want in life to better themselves. I am a living testimony.
My Granny instilled in me God’s Word, prayer, love, and the right and wrong things about life. She taught me that success would not come easy and that I would have to work hard for it. I learned at an early age that when we choose to do things God’s way, God gives us the comfort and wisdom to walk in our seasons.
Although I experienced struggles and challenges after her death, God placed other positive role models in my life. These women, Pastor Rachell Bell, Rev. Dorisalene Hughes, Lady Lori Gill- Lacey, Rita Sanders, Thelma Earl, Bishop Jackie Green, and Rev. Laurie McDonald, helped me through. These women were instrumental in my transformation from dark places I never thought I could overcome. I love and cherish each one of them.
Having God instilled in my life at an early age has helped shape and prepare me for where I am today! I do not regret any trial or tribulation I had to endure because it has built me to be the mack truck I am today. In the slogan for Ford Motor Company (my favorite carmaker) and family maiden name, I am “BUILT to LAST” because I am a Ford!
To God be the GLORY for ALL He has done for little ole’ me.
Today, I am married to a wonderful man of God, and combined; we have four outstanding adult children.
What Drives Us
Our Purpose
ADVMS purpose is to inspire underserved young girls and women and create leaders by engaging their minds, stimulating their spirits, challenging them to look beyond their circumstances, and empowering them to lead.
We believe in mentoring our young girls and women, which will lead them into the next generation of change and transformation by instilling values, morals, and direction. We believe this will encourage them to go beyond the mind of their surroundings.

Our Ministry
"We are a VOICE advocating for those who have lost their voice, lost their identity and lost their way!"
Our mission is to reach as many as we can by developing different programs as time moves forward and our ministry grows. By working with our ministries, you will be given the opportunity to help change our communities and the lives of our women, young girls, and young adult women. Our goal is to assist in establishing their current situation and change their lives.
ADVMS is seeking for volunteers who believe in our mission and vision statements, and are willing to be active in supporting and rebuilding the women of God. We believe that this work is more important today than ever before. Our goal is to heal, encourage, restore and give the women of God their voice back, in this journey called life.
