Deception vs. Truth

Psalm 12:6

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth purified seven times.”

We live in a society where lying mouths and flattery lips have taken their toll on many people. We have been deceived by those with eloquent speech and swift tongues.

We have failed in the justice system, died in our faith, and very few remain Godly.

We stand on platforms and say we speak for the LORD our God with twisted words, deception, and untruth.

Just as David, we are hurt by the deception that controls the people in their lives. People are at a place where they do not know who to believe or what to believe. Words that flow from the mouth cannot be trusted.

BUT GOD! The Words of the LORD has been proven to stand true and are pure in the midst of madness and chaos. For Centuries people have tried to deem God’s Word as untrue, but all have failed. Nothing has been able to stand against God’s Word.

In Psalm 12, we see the proud, lying, manipulating, and boastful words of the people versus God’s true and pure words. David becomes grieved by what he sees and cries out to God for help with such people. He sees the people being manipulated by fast-talking, double-hearted, empty talking leaders, with corrupt minds doing as they wish. It so reminds me of our society today.

The only way we will make it through is with God’s PURE taught Word. It cannot be canceled, erased, or returned void; it’s our lifeline to eternity.

Psalm 119:140

“Thy word is very pure: therefore, thy servant loveth it.”

Proverbs 30:5

“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”

Hebrews 4:12

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: “That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

We need the pure words of God. NO improvement is necessary.

The Word of God can be trusted. A man may lie, but we know God’s Word is truth, and He cannot lie.

Blessings,
