Happy “Brighter Day” Wednesday!

This morning I woke up singing this song and wanted to share. God has been good to us. It does not matter our struggles right now; God is still working it out for His good, and today is going to be a brighter day!

I was thinking about how much covid-19 has put on hold, our children not walking across those stages for their diplomas and degrees, how people have lost jobs, loved ones, homes, patience, peace, joy, and so much more.

Then I was reminded, we have gained so much more. We should have gained a stronger relationship with Christ. A more intimate relationship where we are on our knees, in His Word, in our prayer closets, and coming out with a renewed mind to move forward on the path God has laid before us.

I know each of us is different. I have personally lost FOUR family members during this virus shut down, and it has been devastating. Not being able to gather with family and friends has had its toll as well. BUT, God is still sitting on His throne, and the victories will still be ours.

As the song Brighter Day came across my mind, it reminds me God is what we need, and it will be a brighter day. Smile, my sisters and brothers, and watch God make your heart shine brighter from Him and all you do for Him. My heart may hurt for the loved ones no longer here, but my heart also knows that someone out there needs to be reminded that TODAY will be a BRIGHTER DAY!

Read Psalm 121 and remember to LOOK to hills which cometh thy help, it will be a brighter day!
