Good morning & Happy “Do Not Worry” Tuesday!
Today, I want you to forget about everything that causes you stress, disappointments, setbacks, mishaps, rollbacks, and meditate on God and His word.
Many today are simply trying to get through teaching their kids at home, working from home with kids, husband, and everyone else. Some are trying to teach online for the first time, run their business or school for the first time online, and everyone is just in an uproar.
BUT GOD gives us His word to comfort us in times like these. In John 16:33, Jesus reminds us, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” I tell you, every time I read this verse, all my worries are gone instantly. I choose to focus on the brighter side of life, God’s Word.
So when your mind begins to worry about anything that causes you to worry, stress, etc., remember John 16:33 and also meditate on these things: “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you” Philippians 4:8
Blessings,
Rev. Yo
